Cricket Lullabys

These past few nights I’ve been hearing something I’ve been missing over the winter months: Crickets. I know most people think crickets are annoying, but I have to disagree.

To me, crickets are a sign of spring and summer. I’m sure winter has its perks, but I generally can’t find them.

Spring has been taking its sweet time to hit Purdue, but I have been very happy to hear the early signs of it.

It’s nice to fall asleep to the lullaby of crickets.
