Ireland!
Hello fellow bloggers. I know it’s been a long time since my last post, but I was saving up for this blog. I am in Ireland! How cool is that? I arrived yesterday at 7:55 Ireland time yesterday. (That’s approximately 3 a.m. Indiana time). I won’t lie and say the plane ride was amazing…it was a redeye and there was a lot of turbulence. However, I did sit next to a very lovely Irish lady who told me how much I would love Ireland and where to travel.
While leaving the plane, Kristen, Shelley and I met three other UCD study abroad students. As it turns out, I’m living with one of them. It worked out very well. We all grabbed some taxis and made our way to the UCD campus.
As it turns out, the housing I’m living in is actually graduate student housing. It works out quite well though. Agi and I have 4 other roommates (three guys and 1 other girl). Fortunately one of the guys is from Ireland and another is from Michigan. (He’s been here since last semester). They will both be very helpful in learning how to get around.
Today is a very lovely day. The sun is shining, and it’s a balmy 50 degrees. (I heard it’s in the negatives back in Indiana, and I’m glad I left before that hit)!
I’m going to go ahead and say tootaloo for now, but I will be blogging much more frequently in the near future. See you around!
